I’ve been going to Dr Sharma and his family at Sanatoga Animal hospital since 2007. I’ve had 8 dogs in that time frame and they have never failed to ensure my fur kids received excellent maintenance care, immediate diagnosis of what the issues they had were, excellent recommendations because of his top expertise in the field. They have been rated top veterinarian and top veterinarian practice in Montgomery county nearly every single year for decades. Not only that, but it is a family run practice and you can absolutely see the love and joy they have for animals and take intimate responsibility for the care of every animal that comes in the door and they are always trying to ensure lowest cost by not trying to upsell unneeded treatment or expenses like many places do to try maximize profit. It’s obvious the focus and priority is on providing service to the pets in our community. I am certain they will continue to be at a high level because his daughter is following in his footsteps to in veterinary college while simultaneity continuing hands on work at Sanatoga hospital under the direction of her father and mother who obviously keep up to date on the most current and modern treatments and general surgeries. Dr. Sharma and his team are absolutely amazing. They have treated my families pets my entire life, but since moving out of town for a bit, I was with another vet. About 6 months ago, I started to feel uncomfortable going to my previous vet because of a lot of different reasons. I decided at that time that I needed to move my pets to Sanatoga Animal Hospital and to Dr. Sharma where I knew he held the animals best interest at heart and listened to their owners. Since moving them over, Dr Sharma has treated my babies with care, diagnosed multiple issues, accepted emergency same day visits, clipped toe nails for my boys with ease when others had to muzzle or take them to back rooms with distractions etc, and he has listened to my concerns. He very unfortunately found cancer in my best friend Tucker, but without him, I truly don’t think we ever would have known. I will forever be grateful to him for this.Recently, we rushed Tucker in to an emergency vet for symptoms of distress and diarrhea / urgency to potty. Honestly, I thought may be because of the cancer, however, I was not convinced given the actual symptoms accompanying it. Tucker was diagnosed with colitis after the emergency visit from X-rays and a physical, and $700 later was given a probiotic only. By the next day, we saw blood in the stool and panicked more and rushed him back. At that point I took stools with me and the emergency vet didn’t believe a stool sample was really necessary. I also made my husband take one to Dr. sharma to be safe. The Emergency Vet still confirmed colitis, but Dr. Sharma called me the next day and told me they found bacteria in his stool and it would affect both of my dogs and immediately started them BOTH on medication! I was appalled, frustrated, you name it, with the other visits, but absolutely grateful that Dr. Sharma and his team identified the issue and prescribed medication right away! They just continue to prove why I have found my forever vet practice!And finally, I do not want to forget to mention that addition to Dr Sharma, his team and his family are amazing. The front desk staff and other nurses/vets are so kind and personable, and they treat you with respect and like humans. I have even gotten hugs from the front desk people because of all the hardships we are experiencing with recent diagnosis’s and it’s truly appreciated. We cannot thank them enough for everything they do for our babies. I will never trust another vet as much as I do Dr. Sharma!!

Not only is Dr. Sharma a fantastic vet his caring nature is heartfelt and not just fluff. Whether it's a toothache, stitching up some battle wounds or the really hard end of life part, I feel very blessed to have them both looking after my family! ❤️

My non paying roommate decided it was best for him to end up with concerning symptoms 4 months apart. So I allowed for him to take further advantage of my kindness and take him for an emergency visit to this local vet that had an immediate opening. Although he gets so much free already I decided to foot the bill for each visit since he was under the weather. The First time turned out to be Lyme (very scary moment for us) I expected the bill to be higher than average because it was an emergency sick visit, but it was lower then expected and average for regular week visit. The second was pink eye which was necessary because antibiotics would have been needed so he can have relief and not get worse. I was hoping he'd be more grateful for all this office did to help him feel better, but NO he whined and wanted to rush out without even a thank you. As representative of this mooching roommate, I will say this office was so kind and answered all my questions. I do recommend this office, hopefully you're roommate will be more thankful then mine. But Toby is so happy and comfortable again now that he's feeling better. I'll going to try and get him to pay off the debt but i have a feeling he'll ignore my request and demand much more attention, food, and trips to the park all on my dime and time. Which I'll cave to the moment they give me that happy face look that he knows melts my heart. Here's that look

Dr Sharma is the best! My previous dog had a lot of health issues, including two bouts of cancer. He was so kind and helpful with her. I am hoping I don’t have to go through that with Teddy, but if we do I know he/we are in good hands.

Dr. Sharma provided excellent information regarding our cat’s surgery. He has a wonderful “bedside manner”! The surgery went well and our cat is back to his usual happy self! We are very happy with Sanatoga Vet and highly recommend them!

This veterinary office is a gem! They are very kind to the animals and pet owners. The doctor is professional and experienced. The hours are very convenient. He does not use scare tactics to get the owner to buy services and products that are not needed. He recommends what makes sense and does not cut corners. I wholeheartedly recommend the Sanatoga Vet Hospital. In addition it is a calm environment where the pets are not subjected to loud noises from other animals. Waiting dogs are not permitted to roam uncontrolled in the waiting area jumping on others. They are welcome to wander the yard outside if they need to stretch. It is a more comfortable experience for the pets and the owners because it is a calm and orderly environment. It is easy to make an appointment and the pet can get seen in reasonable time.

My whole family has been going to Dr. Sharma for decades. We all love the knowledge and care he puts into the visits. Everyone here is so kind to both pets and pet parents! I started with such a kind and sweet person, Tina, who answered the phone and answered all my questions. I was worried about how much it would cost to get my cat diagnosed with diabetes and she broke everything down for me and made my first appt! Another vet front desk laughed at me when I asked if she could help break down prices. We saw Dr. Sharma and he is such a sweet person, along with Mrs. Sharma! You can tell that everyone REALLY loves animals and cares about everyone involved in that animal’s care. Dr. Patel has also seen my cat and she was wonderful to speak too as well!! Overall, I’m very very happy with the care we have received here for not only my now diagnosed diabetic cat, but also my pug! Thank you so much for all you’ve done Sanatoga Animal Hospital!!! My cat was feeling ill so I called Sanatoga animal hospital and had the pleasure of speaking with Tina (the most polite person I’ve dealt with at a veterinary hospital) she fit me right in and my cat saw Dr Patel and she was very informative. This Willy cats new Dr. Thank you Tina, and Dr. Patel!

They were the only vet in the area who had time to see an injured kitten I had just trapped. They were thorough and so nice. No one else could see the kitten for 5 or so more days.

The doctor was amazingly gently and understanding of Toby's fear in that room the vet seemed to know his reason for illness and ran the tests very quickly. He also addressed Toby's fireworks fear that we were already expecting that night.
