Receptionist
Kennel Assistant


Receptionist:


2 to 3 evenings per week in addition to 2 to 3 Saturdays per month.

A part-time energetic receptionist needed for a well established, fast-paced, and highly respected veterinary office located in Sanatoga, PA.

Must have excellent communication skills to serve clients with warmth and friendliness, ability to learn quickly, handle animals and people alike, and make a positive first and last impression on all clients. Applicant must be able to type quickly and learn our organizational software.

Must be able to handle phone calls and emails. High school diploma or GED required. Salary based on past experience and present performance.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Answering phone calls on multiple lines and serve clients needs over the phone with courtesy.
Check clients and their pets in and out of the hospital while taking any payment that is due.
Keeping a safe and clean environment at the desk with attention to detail and organization.
Working well with other team members to accomplish tasks together.
Lifting of animals (up to about 100 pounds) and of animal food bags (up to 25 pounds).

Schedule:

Hours variable (2.5 to 8 hour shifts)
Monday to Saturday
Evenings and Weekends

Typical start time:

6:30 PM on weekdays
8:30 AM on Saturdays

Typical end time:

9 PM on weekdays
4:30PM on Saturdays

Kennel Assistant:


2 to 3 evenings per week and 2 to 3 weekends a month

A part-time energetic kennel assistant needed for a well established, fast-paced, and highly respected veterinary office located in Sanatoga, PA.

Must have ability to learn quickly and follow instructions. Must be able to handle animals and clients alike. Some lifting of pets and pet food is required (up to about 50 pounds). Must be able to handle cleaning and sanitizing of the hospital. Must be tolerant to sight of blood, urine, feces, or vomit. Salary based on past experience and present performance.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Animal handling of all sizes and dispositions
Lifting of animals (up to about 100 pounds) and of animal food bags (up to 25 pounds)
Maintenance of cleanliness and sanitation of the hospital
Prepare and perform blood, fecal, and urine laboratory tests
Performing laundry duties including cleaning, drying, and folding the laundry
Assisting the Doctors during appointments, surgery, and other procedures

Schedule:

Hours variable (3 to 8 hour shifts)
Monday to Sunday
Evenings and Weekends
All Holidays

Typical start time:

7PM on weekdays
8AM on weekends

Typical end time:

9PM on weekdays or weekends
4:30PM on weekends
